Welcome

Welcome to Waldruhe, the village for people with psychological disabilities. Since 1908, psychologically sick persons and the disabled have found assisted living and work opportunities in Waldruhe. Waldruhe today offers individually-oriented, differentiated care:

  • Inpatient living

  • Outpatient assisted living

  • Therapeutic offerings

  • Work therapy

What we offer people

  • to come and rest in the forest

  • to recover confidence in others and themselves

  • to feel needed

  • to reconfigure their life themselves

How we work

  • open dialogue to develop the individual's need for help

  • variable performance offers adapted to the individual needs and life concepts of the recipient

  • participation of the recipient in the decisions which concern his own life arrangements and support

  • personal relationship system / personnel continuity

  • qualified personnel available for all services

  • further development of the competence of our employees by continued training and supervision

  •  quality control of our work by participation in quality circles as well as regular internal and external audits

  • holistic network and cooperation with external service providers (doctors, clinics, raps, daycare, etc.) and collaboration in the Gemeindepsychiatrischen Verbund (GPV)
