The change to a new everyday life routine is not easy for anybody. This applies especially when one is older, when memories and fond habits take a fixed place in daily life. Making it possible to meet these habits with respect and provide the necessary help without engendering helplessness is the self-declared mission of Friedensheim Haan. Life in the Friedensheim goes far beyond actual care and support. The goal is to do justice to the needs of older people for a high quality of life, comfort, and mental stimulation.

The four living areas of the senior centre offers a total of eight houses with living space for 226 elderly persons and those in need of care. Taking into account further housing forms for senior citizens, 36 publicly sponsored old age living units as well as 12 service living units are directly connected to Friedensheim.
