Welcome to the Village – living in old age. The Village, or originally labelled “Das Dorf” in German, is situated in Selbeck, a southern district of the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr. Embedded in rural, idyllically charming surroundings, it is simultaneously very well connected to the public suburban traffic and road traffic network. "Living in old age" is an integrating component of the Village.
In total about 600 elderly and young individuals live here with and without disabilities. The Village offers totally normal social interaction by simultaneously considering the needs of the residents for security and shelter. Uppermost objective of the integrative concept of living are various life forms which come as close as possible to meeting the individual needs and desires of the residents.
The area "Living in old age" offers both inpatient care as well as assisted living.
