The Altenwohnanlage Grossenbaum located in the heart of the Duisburg-Großenbaum district is a facility of the Theodor Fliedner Foundation. It consists of four buildings grouped around a beautifully situated park with many old trees. Here one can stroll, linger or relax with friends for a little conversation or rest on one of the park benches.

Duisburg-Großenbaum is an attractive part of town in the south of Duisburg. It is surrounded by meadows, fields and woods and borders on the rural Düsseldorf boroughs Wittlaer and Angermund. The nearby six lakes region is a popular recreation area for the people of the region, and invites strollers and hikers.
We make older individuals a comprehensive offering: diverse activities in the city, consultation offers and, if necessary, also outpatient nursing care.

If a treatment is still necessary subsequent to an inpatient stay, then we offer the possibility of short-term nursing. If you are a caretaking relative and would you like to go on holiday or are yourself prevented because of sickness, then you know that your relative is in good hands with us here.

If you would like to live in your own dwelling, but still would like make use of the security and comfort of our services, then you can do this in our service living units.
If you need a nursing facility, then we offer you individual apartments with comprehensive nursing care.
